In his role, Pat collaborates with WSP’s toll market leaders to develop and drive a marketing strategy that supports the growth of the firm’s mobility operations business. He oversees the management and development of WSP’s mobility operations including intelligent transportation systems, tolling and other operational services for government agencies, designed to maximize efficiency and performance.

Pat brings nearly three decades of experience successfully leading and growing national programs, teams and major initiatives in the ITS and tolling industry. He has deployed myriad intelligent transportation system programs and designed and led the operation of TransGuide – the Texas Department of Transportation’s first fully-integrated advanced traffic management operations center. He previously served as chairman of the 2011 World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, which hosted more than 10,000 transportation, technology, business and government leaders from more than 74 countries. He was also chair of the World Congress Technology Demonstrations Committee, and during his tenure he observed more than 20 technology demonstrations including vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications, pricing solutions, next generation traveler information and environmental solutions.

Pat earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
