Phase I Environmental Site Assessments

Phase I environmental site assessment and high level environmental, health and safety compliance evaluations were completed at the client’s manufacturing facilities to identify recognized environmental conditions.

Supporting Clients’ Goals

Phase I environmental site assessment and a high level environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance evaluations were completed at both manufacturing and warehouse facilities to identify land contamination and EHS compliance liabilities associated with a potential acquisition for our client. We provided additional environmental compliance support to further identify, correct and disclose regulatory compliance gaps.

Protection Agency and ASTM standards while the compliance reviews included an evaluation of each facility’s compliance with federal, state and local EHS laws and regulations. Following closing of the transaction, WSP managed in-depth environmental compliance audits at four of the manufacturing sites to identify significant compliance issues that could be remedied under EPA’s New Owner Audit Policy. Corrective actions were identified and prioritized and a strategy for disclosure and remediation appropriate for our client’s business and risk management framework was prepared.
