Carbon capture together with geological carbon sequestration can accelerate global decarbonization outcomes; the production and storage of low-carbon hydrogen represents a way to advance clean energy use.

In the following article, members of WSP’s technical and advisory teams who have worked on carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) and hydrogen storage projects discuss the significant role of these technologies in tackling the pressing global issue of decarbonization; they also consider the challenges that must be addressed to support carbon sequestration and hydrogen storage.
