Taylor Yard G2 River Park is considered the “crown jewel” of the City of LA’s visionary plan to revitalize 31 miles of its famous, channelized river. The 42-acre G2 riverfront parcel is situated in the center of the LA Basin, where the river winds through and divides park-poor neighborhoods.
Due to its size, context and potential, the project will be the first one of major scale and significance implemented along the LA River and is viewed as a major step towards further river revitalization efforts. Transformation of the site will support environmental cleanup and sustainability, restore habitat, improve stormwater quality, provide urban greening and cooling and open more than one mile of direct riverfront access to local communities.
