DETROIT — WSP, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, combining its engineering, advisory and science-based expertise to shape communities, welcomes Andy Doctoroff as project delivery manager and senior vice president of program management in the U.S. He is based in Detroit and will maintain a national profile.
Doctoroff oversees strong client relationships and leads multi-disciplinary teams of advisors, planners, engineers and technical experts for major transportation facilities nationwide, operating in a broad spectrum of transportation and urban development disciplines.
“Managing urban development and transportation investments requires a sharp aptitude for thinking and coordination across multiple technical lines, as well as experience in building robust, productive partnerships between public and private sector stakeholders,” said Daniel Baer, senior vice president, project development national market leader at WSP in the U.S. “As a proven leader, Andy’s skill set enables us to better address our client’s modern challenges and bring impactful solutions to projects nationwide.”

Rick Snyder and as a private consultant to Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who also appointed him to the Mackinac Corridor Straits Authority, which oversees the Line 5 pipeline tunnel project.
Doctoroff is a graduate of Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in government, and the University of Michigan Law School with a juris doctor degree, where he serves as an adjunct professor of infrastructure.
